According to the indigenous people Chile means ‘Place Where the Land Ends’, this is where South America ends. I like Chile for its diverse geography, protected nature, beautiful climate and the high literacy rate that Chileans are so proud of.
In 2002 I enjoyed the pristine fjords and made it to Punta Arenas, the southernmost city of South America. In 2004 I visited Atacama the driest desert in the world.
