Estonia is one of the best run countries in the world and the least populous in Europe. Estonians created Skype in 2003, have a 99.8% literacy rate and high-speed internet free to citizens.
Estonians, who were occupied several times throughout history, in August 23, 1989, joined hands with their neighbors from Latvia and Lithuania to form a human chain of about two million people and peacefully connected the three countries. This political but peaceful demonstration became known as The Baltic Way led to their final independence from Russia.
