Thanks to this initiative of Mayor Mauricio M\u00e9ndez, this community passed an anti-plastic bag law in 2016 to help clean the waters of Lake <\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW214745119 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW214745119 BCX0\">Atitl\u00e1n<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW214745119 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW214745119 BCX0\">, the lake where the town is located. This action sparked a pride movement and other towns are doing the same to protect the health of people from pollution and contamination.\u00a0\u00a0 In Antigua, I enjoyed the baroque style buildings
