Nature\u201d was written by Latvian pastor Gotthard Friedrich Stender.\u00a0 The encyclopedia and ancient traditions have survived the occupations Latvia had endured.<\/p>\n<p>Latvia, small but courageous country joined the Baltic Chain of Freedom or \u2018Road to Democracy\u2019 on August 23, 1989 when two million people held hands connecting the three Baltic Capitals, Tallinn, Riga and
