It\u2019s said that Albert Nobel was inspired to do this by a peace activist friend. Nobel prizes are awarded in Stockholm except for the Nobel Peace Prize that is awarded in Oslo.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I visited Sweden in 2015 during the season of warmth and sunlight which locals treasure the most.\u00a0I was impressed with their efficient network of bicycle lanes that Stockholm has to accommodate the large population living and working downtown.
